HOW TO UNLOCK FAST TRAVEL ABILITY IN RAGE 2

Unlock fast travel in Rage 2 and travel across the wasteland in the blink of an eye!

May 17, 2019

The world of Rage 2 is vast and full of places to visit. The only problem is, getting around Rage 2 can be a bit time-consuming, which is where fast travel comes in. There’s nothing quite as liberating as being able to instantly blink from one location to another, and thankfully fast travel is certainly possible in Bethesda’s latest first-person shooter.

How to fast travel in Rage 2

To unlock the fast travel ability in Rage 2, you will need to first get through the early stages of the game. You will need to head to one of the three major settlements found around the map, specifically Lagooney, Wellspring, or Gunbarrel.

Once you reach one of these three locations, you will be able to fast travel to it wherever you are. This means if you’re out exploring some derelict location and need to resupply, you can zip back to Wellspring in an instant.

Unfortunately, these are the only three fast travel points in the entire map. To make matters worse, these locations are fairly close to one another, so there’s not a lot of map coverage. If you want to go to an area you found but had to leave because you were under-powered, well, you’re going to need to travel there the old-fashioned way. That is to say, get yourself a vehicle and speed over there with wreckless abandon.

Luckily, traveling fast around the environment is easy with something like the Icarus. Take to the air and zoom over all your troubles as you explore the map. This is especially useful when trying to track down the 13 Arks so you can unlock new abilities and weapons.

So while fast travel in Rage 2 is only limited to three main locations, there are other ways you can quickly navigate the huge wasteland. Do yourself a favor and keep your eyes peeled for vehicles, as they will likely be the fastest way for you to travel across the wasteland!
