What Does Wiping Your Character Do In Gray Zone Warfare? Explained

Gray Zone Warfare is the latest tactical shooter that has striking similarities to Escape From Tarkov.

However, the game looks uber polished and fans are amped to dive into the game. But, you may be wondering what the new wiping feature is.

Here's what it does within Gray Zone Warfare.

What Does Wiping Your Character Do In Gray Zone Warfare? Explained

Gray Zone Warfare is going to feature the same level of tactical gameplay that we've seen in other titles over the years.

While the game has been off to a rocky start in terms of servers, players have been enjoying the overall experience when they have the chance too.

However, with the game having three factions, and being squad locked to play with friends in the same faction, you might want to take advantage of the new wiping feature.

Here's what it does.

We've listened to your feedback, and an account wipe option is now live in #GrayZoneWarfare. After wiping, all your progress will reset and the game will shut down smoothly. Upon relaunching, you will go through the character creation and get Edition Content and starter gear again.
Opt for a character wipe to switch factions or to recover from a missing head/secure container bug (Note: This problem might reoccur until we release a proper fix).
