Is Rainbow Six Mobile the same as Rainbow Six Siege?
Our vision is to bring the Rainbow Six universe to mobile, enabling more people worldwide to enjoy this competitive, tactical, and immersive FPS experience whenever and wherever they want.
In a blog written by the Rainbow Six Mobile development team, Ubisoft explained that although the game “looks incredibly similar,” it will be quite different to what players know and love.
“While the core gameplay, characters, and maps may share similarities with Siege, we’ve rebuilt everything from the ground up with mobile usability in mind,” shared the developer.
“We have put a lot of work under the hood to adapt the Siege experience for mobile devices. This includes an entirely new gameplay control system developed specifically for mobile and extensive optimization of the UI and in-game visual presentation.”
What Is The Rainbow Six Mobile Release Date?

All Rainbow Six Mobile Maps
The game will also reintroduce iconic maps from Rainbow Six Siege, but for the time being only two maps have been confirmed. This includes Bank and Border, with the official website teasing that “Classified information about upcoming maps will soon be revealed to all Operators”.
All Rainbow Six Mobile Operators
At launch, Rainbow Six Mobile will include five Attackers and five defenders (all listed below), but as you can imagine it’s already being promised that more will be on the way. Given that Rainbow Six Siege currently has over 60 playable operators, there are plenty of options available to developers to choose from.
Attackers: Ash, Sledge, Twitch, Thermite, and Hibana.
Defenders: Caveira, Bandit, Smoke, Valkyrie, and Mute
