Pokémon Legends Z-A will be the next mainline Pokémon game to hit the shelves, and it'll also be the first in the series to release on the Nintendo Switch 2.

Pokemon Legends: Z-A has been off to a great start when it comes to player perception, as the revamped battle system has been a breath of fresh air thus far.
However, when it comes to planning your team and organizing a good group of Pokémon to take into battle, there are going to be some that are better than others.
Early on, you're going to want to take advantage of these stronger Pokémon, as they'll help your team out immediately.

- Charmander, Squirtle, or Bulbasaur
- Obtained via 'A Call from Mable' side quest

- Pikachu
- Ralts
Later on during the mid-game portion of Legends: Z-A; players should keep their eyes out for:
- Altaria
- Absoul
- Hawlucha
