Marvel Rivals takes a ton of aspects we see from other hero shooters, and infuses them within the Marvel universe to make a lovely game for players to check out.
Now, one feature that is different from Overwatch is the ability to ban heroes in certain game modes, which we're going to run over now.

Marvel Rivals is the next multiplayer game that will encompass the entire Marvel universe, and it will combine the elements of Overwatch and Paladins that players have grown to love over the years.
Banning heroes as of now, is only doable in competitive, and will become available once you've hit Diamond and above.
Each team will get the chance to ban two heroes before the start of each match, and this can really throw a teams composition off.
