How To Pause Elden Ring (Without Mods)
From time to time you’re probably going to want to pause the game, in situations such as crucial fights or when something comes up but you’re in the middle of a crucial fight and don’t want to lose your progress.
This is where a pause button be nice, but FromSoftware is known for never adding them into their games, so we never expected one when Elden Ring first released.
However, if you’re looking to pause the game anyways, there’s one way we can think of doing it without mods.
Players will need to hit the following menu buttons.
- Press start or ESC
- Head into any menu (like Equipment)
- Press the back button to show contextual options
- Select “Menu Explanation”
If this doesn’t work for you, there is certain mods you can find online that do allow the game to be paused, so there’s always that option if you’re up for it.
