GTA 6 is perhaps the most anticipated game of all time, and we’ve finally got our first look at the game in the first-ever trailer for GTA 6.
While it may not be released until 2025, there’s still some news that pertains to the series, as the source code has been leaked for GTA 5, revealing some cancelled DLC.
Here’s what we know.
GTA 5 Had Numerous DLC Cancelled According To New Leaks
While most of us were busy celebrating the holidays with friends and family, the entire source code for GTA 5 was leaked, and people started diving into it, and have found some details about potential DLC that was planned for GTA 5.
While there was a ton of content for the game over the last decade or so, dataminers have found that the following DLC has planned, and ultimately cancelled over the years.
- ‘SP Assassination Pack’
- ‘SP Manhunt Pack’
- ‘SP Norman Pack’
- ‘Agent Trevor’
- ‘Relationship Pack’
- ‘Enterprise Pack’
- ‘Prologue DLC’
- ‘LibertyV DLC’
It appears most of these DLCs were going to be tied directly into the story of GTA 5, with one even noting it would take us to Liberty City itself. However, as we know, this was all cancelled, and we aren’t to sure why, but perhaps the success of GTA Online contributed to Rockstar’s efforts being shifted elsewhere.
