Every season Bungie will release ten weeks of Destiny 2 seasonal challenges, with a new set released every Tuesday following the Destiny 2 Weekly Reset. These challenges come in all sorts of shapes and sizes, but in general, they’ll have you completing challenges throughout the game’s numerous activities. That might mean getting certain types of kills, playing Crucible matches, banking motes in Gambit, or undertaking high-level Nightfall Strikes.
Now, for Season of the Wish we’re going to dive into all the new and past weekly challenges players can dive into.
Destiny 2 Season of the Wish Weekly Challenges: All Season 23 Challenges
Week 8 Challenges
- Better Half: Complete Starcrossed on Legend difficulty.
- Nest Egg: Complete The Coil activity and access the Chamber of Wishes.
- Taking All Challenges: Complete 3 Weekly playlist challenges.
- Ritual Ornament: Acquire any ornament for the Seasonal ritual weapon.
- Fleeting Glory: Complete 8 Crucible matches in the Competitive playlist. Bonus progress for wins.
- Life Dispersion: Defeat 100 targets with the Solar, Stasis, or Strand subclass equipped in Gambit. Bonus progress for ability final blows and final blows against Guardians.
- Kinetic Forces: Get 150 final blows with Kinetic Weapons. Bonus progress for defeating Guardians.
Week 7 Challenges
- Wishseeker IV: Complete the week 7 story quest of the “Wishing All the Best”.
- Swift Dispersal: Rapidly defeat combatants in Riven’s Lair and The Coil activity. Gain additional progress within The Coil. Additional objectives require players to collect 500 Shards in total.
- Dragon’s Defender V: Use Trace Rifles or Linear Fusion Rifles to defeat enemies. Additional progress can be earned by defeating Guardians in PvP, alongside seasonal activities.
- On a Whim: Acquire the Chivalric Fire Ritual Sword.
- Expedited Violence: Rapidly defeat targets in Crucible, Gambit, or Vanguard. Bonus progress can be earned through Guardian final blows.
- Weight of Dreams: Acquire final blows with Heavy weapons in Ritual activities. Rocket Launchers and Guardian kills will grant bonus progression.
- Flourish of Power: Defeat Guardians in Mayhem with super abilities.
- Darkest Nightfall: Complete any Nightfall Strike on Hero or higher difficulty. Additional progress will be granted upon completing difficulties over Hero.
- Mid-range calibration: Earn kills using Hand Cannons, Auto Rifles, Glaives, Fusion Rifles, and Machine Guns. Bonus progress can be earned by defeating Guardians.
Week 6 Challenges
- Wishseeker IV: Complete Week 6 of “Wishing All The Best:.
- Dragon Delves: Complete pathways in Riven Lair and The Coil.
- Mod Collector: Unlock Artifact mods.
- Iron Sharpens Iron: Complete Iron Banner matches to progress, and score wins for bonus progression.
- Rapid Precision: Get rapid precision final blows. Bonus progress is granted for defeating Guardians, and for every defeated target after the second one.
Week 5 Challenges
- Wishseeker V: Complete Week 5 of the seasonal quest “Wishing All of the Best.”
- Dreamcrusher: Defeat bosses and minibosses in Riven’s Lair or The Coil.
- Dragon’s Defender IV: Defeat targets using Submachine Guns and Hand Cannons. Additional progression can be gained by Guardian kills or kills in seasonal activities.
- Neptune Activities: Complete Bounties, Lost Sectors, Patrols, and Public Events.
- Commendation Appreciation: Earn progress by giving commendations in Vanguard, Crucible, and Gambit.
- Potent Projectiles: Defeat Guardians in Crucible or Gambit with Bows, Hand Cannons, Pulse Rifles, Auto Rifles, or Rocket Launchers. Earn bonus progress using Rocket Launchers.
- Boss Battle: Defeat bosses in Strikes or Vanguard playlists. Bonus progression can be earned in Hero or higher difficulty.
Week 4 Challenges
- Wishseeker IV: Complete Week 4 of the seasonal quest “Wishing All of the Best.”
- Wishing Well: Open chests in Riven Lair’s and The Coil.
- Foes of the Dragon, Vex: Defeat Vex anywhere in the system. Defeating Vex in The Coil of Riven’s Lair will grant additional progress. Bonus objectives require players to break pots in The Coil.
- Gotta Win Them All: Complete activities in ritual game modes. Bonus progression can be earned from completing Vanguard playlist activities at Hero or higher, alongside winning matches in Crucible or Gambit.
- Grandmaster: Complete any Nightfall Strike in Grandmaster difficulty
Week 3 Challenges
- Wishseeker III: Complete Week 3 of the seasonal quest “Wishing All of the Best.”
- Elemental Extremes: Get Solar, Arc, and Stasis final blows. Bonus progression can be earned with Jolt, Ignite, and Shatter kills.
- Foes of the Dragon: Scorn: Defeat Scorn anywhere in the system. Defeating Scorn in Riven’s Lair or The Coil grants additional progress. Additionally, defeat Glass Collectors in The Coil.
- Dragon’s Defender III: Defeat targets with Pulse Rifle or Fusion Rifle. Gain additional progress from Guardian final blows and kills within seasonal activities.
- Round and Round we go: Generate Orb of Power in Vanguard, Crucible, and Gambit playlists.
- Trial by Firing Squad: Win multiple rounds in Trials of Osiris game mode.
Week 2 Challenges
- Wishseeker II: Complete Week 2 of the “Wishing All the Best” seasonal questline.
- Inner Fires: Get Solar, Void, or Strand final blows. Bonus progression can be earned for scorch, volatile, and suspended final blows.
- Foes of the Dragon, Taken: Defeat Taken anywhere in the system. Bonus progression can be earned within The Coil and Riven’s Lair activities. An additional objective requires completing Pathways in The Coil.
- Dragon’s Defender II: Defeat targets with Shotguns and Bows. Gain additional progress from Guardian’s final blows and kills inside seasonal activities.
- Absolutely Stunning: Stun Champions 50 times.
- The Sun’s Fire: Defeat Guardians with Solar damage in the Crucible.
- Precision Calibration: Calibrate marksman weapon by landing precision shots. Weapon types should include Scout, Linear Fusion, and Sniper Rifles. Bonus progression can be earned by defeating Guardians in PvP.
Week 1 Challenges
- Wishseeker I: Complete Week 1 step of the “Wishing All the Best” seasonal questline.
- The City a Wish Built: Complete Dreaming City Public Events, Lost Sectors, and Patrols. Blind Well completions will grant bonus progression toward completion.
- Dragon’s Defender I: Defeat combatants with Solar weapons. Gain additional progress with Solar Rocket Launcher final blows.
- Silver Blade: Acquire the Swords and Signs triumph by scoring kills Swords and Solar melee abilities.
- EDZ activities: In the EDZ, earn progress by completing Bounties, Lost Sectors, Patrols, and Public Events.
- Focused Intention: Score kills with weapons with Primary ammunition within Ritual activities. Bow, Hand Cannon, Pulse Rifle, and Auto Rifle final blows will grant bonus progression.
